President of Pakistan Visits Sany Group, Advocates Deepening Sino-Pak Industrial Cooperation

On April 26, Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, paid an official visit to Sany Group, a world-leading construction machinery and intelligent equipment enterprise headquartered in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. The visit, which was part of his official trip to China, aimed to further strengthen industrial and technological cooperation between Pakistan and China, promote the transfer of advanced manufacturing technology, and inject new vitality into the deepening of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) cooperation.
Accompanied by relevant Chinese and Pakistani officials, President Zardari was warmly received by the senior management of Sany Group. During the visit, he toured the group’s intelligent production workshop and product exhibition hall, where he closely observed a series of high-tech products independently developed by Sany, including unmanned counterbalance forklifts, intelligent construction machinery, and new energy equipment. The advanced technology, exquisite craftsmanship and intelligent design of these products left a deep impression on the president, who couldn’t hide his admiration and enthusiasm throughout the tour.
When he saw the unmanned counterbalance forklift, a core product of Sany’s intelligent logistics equipment series, President Zardari stopped to watch carefully. He watched the forklift complete loading, unloading and stacking operations automatically with precise movements, without any manual operation. After learning about the product’s efficient, safe and energy-saving characteristics, as well as its wide application in warehouses, ports, factories and other scenarios, he couldn’t put it down and repeatedly praised its practicality and advanced nature.
Turning to the senior management of Sany Group, President Zardari said with great enthusiasm and a hint of regret, “Why hasn’t Sany been invited to Pakistan yet? Such advanced and practical equipment is exactly what Pakistan needs for its industrial development and infrastructure construction. Your products can greatly improve our work efficiency and promote the modernization of our manufacturing industry.” His words fully reflected Pakistan’s urgent demand for advanced Chinese manufacturing equipment and its strong desire to cooperate with Sany Group.
Moved by the excellent performance of Sany’s products, President Zardari immediately called the accompanying Pakistani officials to his side on the spot. With great expectation, he emphasized, “I also want to manufacture such products in Pakistan. We have a large market demand and a broad space for development. Pointing to the unmanned counterbalance forklift, he added with a smile, “I want to take this home!
